Normal Computing | Incredible Opportunities

The Normal Team builds foundational software and hardware that help move technology forward - supporting the semiconductor industry, critical AI infrastructure, and the broader systems that power our world. We work as one team across New York, San Francisco, Copenhagen, and London.

Your Role in Our Mission:
In this role, you will work onsite with our customers to solve their silicon design and verification problems using Normal EDA. You will typically partner closely with one client in a given location, but will travel to co-locate with the broader Normal Computing team as needed.

Normal EDA is an AI system that generates and helps maintain internally consistent verification collateral such as chip specifications, test plans, stimulus, coverage models, and formal representations.

This role requires strong product strategy, client communication, and technical skills. You will be partnered with forward deployed machine learning and silicon engineers, and be responsible for production impact at F500 semiconductor companies. On a day to day basis, you will work with client engineering teams to deeply understand their workflows and problems, and synthesize those into a roadmap for both our engineering team on the ground and the wider Normal Computing engineering team

Success in this role is measured by production deployments, sustained customer value, measurable shifts in verification workflows driven by Normal, and the ability to tailor and scale deployments to meet diverse customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer verification workflows, technical constraints, and objectives in depth, and design and execute deployment plans that are tailored to their needs and goals

  • Lead technical engagements and customer enablement sessions that deepen customer understanding of Normal and accelerate effective use in production settings, including training and workshop style interactions

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues spanning software, infrastructure, workflows, and configurations

  • Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers, Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to refine deployment processes and technical integration

  • Turn early pilots and evaluations into stable, sustained production deployments with demonstrable value

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to create scalable, low friction patterns and tools for future customer deployments

  • Act as a source of real deployment experience for internal teams, surfacing gaps, edge cases, and workflow feedback that informs product decisions

  • Own deployments end to end, from initial planning through sustained usage

What Makes You A Great Fit:

  • Technical qualifications: A degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in customer facing technical roles such as Deployment Strategist, solutions engineering, consulting, or product management.

  • Strong systems thinking across software, infrastructure, workflows, and complex toolchains

  • Ability to understand and map customer workflows and constraints into executable deployment steps

  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments and making progress with incomplete information

  • Strong communicator, capable of working effectively with engineering teams and technical leaders

  • Technical fluency and confidence working with production systems, toolchains, and infrastructure

  • Ownership mindset with bias toward delivering measurable customer outcomes

  • Experience turning bespoke technical engagements into repeatable deployment patterns

Bonus Points For:

  • Background in semiconductor design, verification workflows, EDA tooling, or adjacent domains

  • Familiarity with verification concepts such as UVM, SystemVerilog, stimulus generation, and coverage metrics

  • Prior experience deploying AI or ML systems into production environments

  • Experience feeding real deployment insights into product planning and roadmap discussions

  • Built deployment frameworks, automation, or playbooks that increased throughput across customer engagements
