Big if True science accelerator
Renaissance Philanthropy
A 15-week, 10h/week accelerator for scientists and technologists to design 8-figure moonshot programs.
The internet, mRNA vaccines, self-driving cars, GPS. These technologies didn’t emerge from incremental progress in industry or academia. They were the result of DARPA-style, coordinated research programs— they were run by a deeply technical program manager with a high degree of autonomy, aligning labs and companies around a shared, ambitious goal beyond business-as-usual R&D. We need more such efforts and that’s why we created the Big if True Science Accelerator (BiTS) to supports scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs in transforming bold concepts into actionable program designs.
BiTS was designed by former DARPA PMs to distill the strategies and tactics behind successful programs, to empower the next generation of scientific visionaries.
The program leaders, Joshua Elliott and JP Chretien, have programmed hundreds of millions of dollars across multiple programs in AI for science, robotics, pandemic preparedness and medical technologies. Together, they built a network of advisors and mentors ready to help you develop your coordinated research program, and a curriculum to guide your journey.
🇬🇧 Applications for the UK open cohort powered by ARIA are now LIVE. Please visit this site for more information and apply here by July 25th.
